Here's the Deal

My reasons for starting this blog are twofold; to fulfill an assignment for my computer class at NCCU, and to create a place for our far-flung friends and family to get photos and updates on the happenings in the Averill household. Now that we are expecting a third member of our family, our lives have suddenly become more interesting to our loved ones, so I can feel justified in displaying my life on the internet in a way that I haven't before. Times like these make me wish we could be closer to our families, so hopefully this blog will help make the distance seem a little shorter.

I'll be updating the blog periodically, i.e., when something interesting happens. You can expect to see pregnancy updates from me and photos as they become available. I hope to keep the blog going after Baby Averill's arrival, when the photos should get much more exciting. Unfortunately, this assignment also has a video component, so I'm going to go ahead and apologize for that one in advance.
